Synopsis:
A love triangle between two good friends Nraug Hli Xiong aka 'X', Tou Lee and a fictional dream girl, Nkauj Hnub Xiong. X is every woman's dream man. He's successful, intelligent and beyond gorgeous, but even with all his good fortune X is empty knowing and sensing that his life is hollow and missing an essential element. Searching for the spark to his life X turns to his dreams and there finds this fantasy girl. Their love blossoms in his subconscious and X deters from reality to find a way to make his fantasy love come to life. However, trying to change the hands of fate, changes their destiny and X is trapped between two worlds.

Jerry Yang, the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event champion

Jerry Yang, the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event champion, is a psychologist and former social worker. A graduate of Pacific Union College with a master’s degree in health psychology from Loma Linda University, Jerry worked with at-risk children for several years in Southern California. After winning over $8 million at the WSOP, Jerry promptly donated over $800,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Ronald McDonald House, and Feed The Children. In the year following his victory, he raised another $700,000 through his charity poker events. Married and the father of six, Jerry resides near Fresno, California. All In is Jerry’s first book.

May Lee-Yang play has new life at InterMedia Arts

Minneapolis, Minn. (March 2, 2011) – Playwright, writer, poet and performance artist May Lee-Yang was a sensation at the 2010 Fringe Festival with her play, Confessions of a Lazy Hmong Woman, selling out every performance. Now as an upgraded production through the National Performance Network Creation Fund, co-commissioned by OutNorth Theater in partnership with Kaotic Good Productions, the play returns for a run at Intermedia Arts.

Intermedia Arts resident artist Robert Karimi directs the new version with May Lee-Yang performing with cast members, Phasoua Vang and Souvan Samuel Lee.
